Conclusion

I never knew how much I'd like blogging. I knew I would like it, but not this much. So with that being said, this is not a conclusion. This is just the beginning. I plan on continuing with my blog forever...well, maybe not forever.

I love the freedom that I can write whatever I like, and someone out there, someone like you, will read it.

I was very excited when I was first given the assignment of blogging, but not so much about picking a idea. I probably switched my idea a million times, but I'm happy with what I finally chose. You have to admit, a feminine lifestyle was a pretty good choice considering me.

So don't worry, this isn't a "real" conclusion. I will be continuing with this blog. I have tons of things I want to post about. Who knows, maybe one day I'll become famous? Doubt it, but still, this is a lot of fun.

Book Club?

Hello dolls! How has your weekend been?

Mine was full with: laundry, re-arrganging my room, and of course homework,

At school the other day, I was in the library working on my blog during my Writer's Workshop class. As I was walking out of the library I saw an assortment of books with pink books. It got me to thinking...I miss reading. I used to read all the time when I was younger. It seems that ever since I got into high school, I stopped reading for fun. It seemed I was just reading what was required of me. 

I decided that I wanted to start reading again. Of course, I thought bigger than that. What if I started a book club? There is one problem, where am I going to find the time to read a book, and where was I going to find the time to meet with the people. That's when a bell went off in my head. It went like *ding ding*. The bell then talked and said, "Diamond, you have a blog, you can make your readers part of your book club."

Great idea, right?

I know.

The books will have to be fabulous or deal with something feminine.

So the plan is that I'm going to start this when I get more readers. 

The goal? 12 books per year. Sounds reasonable, right? 1 book a month.

Maybe when I find more time, I can expand to 2 books a month, for 24 books a year.

We will be so intelligent!

I picked this up from Borders for 40% off (They're going out of business.) I absolutely love this book, EVERY person in the world should read it. It covers everything from partying, entertaining, cooking, and behaving.

It's a fashion website where you can create fashion collages.

Registering is super easy, all you need is to think of a username, a password, and have an e-mail account.

Polyvore is a great website for all people who are artistic, creative, and/or fashionable. I fell in love with it immediately.

My inspiration for the piece above was that I love the color pink, and Paris is one of my dream vacations. 

I highly advise you to pay a visit, it's a great way to express yourself through fashion.

Mrs. Future Cupcake Connoisseur

I don't know about you all but, I am truly a sucker for cupcakes. I have no idea where this obsession came from...well I think I do know. It all started one late night during December of last year. I had gotten my wisdom teeth removed, and my oh my, I was hungry. I challenge you to drink liquids for longer than a week, you would be starving too. The channel my television seemed to stay on at night was the Food Network, I fantasized about how good that food would taste in my mouth. I was basically torturing myself. This show called Cupcake Wars came on, interesting, right? The show was basically about these cupcakeries or cupcake boutiques, some would call. I have never seen cupcakes like them before. They weren't you typical vanilla, nasty pink icing, and topped with a "Happy Birthday" ring cupcakes. They were exotic. They were gourmet. They were feminine. But most of all, they were ADORABLE! If you don't think a cupcake is cute...something is terribly wrong with you. 

Almost a year later, I decided "Hey, instead of spending $4 on one cupcake, why don't I learn how to make my own delicious cupcakes?" Smart right? The only problem is...I am not the greatest cook, which is weird. I LOVE to cook, even though I'm terrible. That's not the point. The point is:

1. I need a gourmet cupcake cookbook
2. I need to practice...a lot

Practice does make perfect they say. My cupcakes probably won't be perfect. But they'll be FABULOUS. That's good enough for me. Anything fabulous is good enough for me.

Who knows, maybe one will day I'll be creating my own fashion cupcakes. They'd be pink with edible glitter. They'd also have really cute names.

The best part will be biting into one of these exotic flavored delicacies and savouring the moment. It's like being in wonderland. 

The best title for this post would be Mrs. Future Cupcake Connoisseur. I don't even know what "connoisseur" means. It just sounds pretty fancy. Maybe I should look it up...

According to Dictionary.com,

Connoisseur - noun. A discerning judge of the best in any field. 

Wow, way to burst my own bubble. I thought it meant you were good at something, not good at judging something. Technically, I should change the title. Eh, I don't see myself doing so. Connoisseur sounds verrry elegant, and I like elegant.

If I'm going to learn how to make gourmet cupcakes, I'm going to need a fabulous apron for doing so. I mean, every baker needs an apron. It's like the jelly to peanut butter, the milk to cereal, the cheese to macaroni, you get the point. It can't be any ole' apron. It must be a pink apron. Or have pink accents. It must have pink someting. It'd be really cute if I could find a pink apron with white polka dots...something is missing..OH! Ruffles for sure.

I think it's best that I stop rambling for now. Plus, my homework is calling my name.
